GETTING THERE
By Road:
Port Grimaud is approximately 30km from the A8 autoroute (motorway).
It's approximately 1170km from Calais.
By Train and TGV:
Drive to Paris or Lille.
Park your car and catch the TGV train to Toulon, which takes about 3 hours and 45 minutes from Paris.
In Toulon, you can hire a car for the remainder of your journey to Port Grimaud.
This option allows for a relaxing way to reach the South of France and avoids tolls, traffic jams, and early morning airport check-ins.
By Air:
The nearest airports are Nice Airport (approximately 95km away, a 1 hour and 15-minute drive without traffic) and Toulon/Hyères Airport (approximately 50km away).
You can rent a car at either airport.
By Bus from the Airport:
At the airport, there is a bus terminal where you can catch a bus to St. Raphael.
From St. Raphael, you can catch another bus to Port Grimaud or take a taxi for the remaining distance.
By Rail:
The nearest railway stations are at Toulon and Frejus/St. Raphael.
From these stations, you can continue your journey to Port Grimaud by bus or taxi.
By Taxi:
There are local English-speaking taxi services available.
From Nice Airport to Port Grimaud, it costs around 200 euros each way (based on 2023 prices).
From the train station at St. Raphael to Port Grimaud, it costs around 125 euros each way (based on 2023 prices).
